Something for Gloria is Inspired by Gloria Kisch’s acute sense of scale, her peculiar affinity for the whimsical and finally the dichotomy in her work: a contrast between hard industrial materials and a softness carried through shape, color and spatial layering.
The proposal echoes the natural environment in which Bells and Flowers were inspired and created. As opposed to a typical white box gallery, we propose a soft, ambiguous landscape, where Gloria’s sculptures stand in contrast as pieces that reflect both a hard and gentle nature.
